Montana 2025 Legislative Session. The purpose of the state of montana’s legislative branch is to propose laws (called “bills”) and determine if they should. All committee meetings are open to the public.

Our montana state news bureau will have more eyes and ears inside the capitol than anybody else for the 2025 montana legislative session. There are 16 house committees, which meet on varying schedules to hear public comment on proposed legislation.
